Pope Leo XVI is the current lead of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City State. He is the first pope to have been born in the United States and North America, the first to hold American and Peruvian citizenships, the first born after World War II, the first from the Order Of Saint Augustine, and the second from the Americas after his predecessor Pope Francis. Made a cardinal by Pope Francis, the previous pope, Prevost emphasized synodality, missionary dialogue, and engagement with social and technological obstacles. He also engaged with problems like climate change, global migration, church governance, and human rights, and expressed alignment with the reforms of the Second Vatican Council. Prevost's election in the 2025 conclave was unexpected by observers; he was a dark horse candidate, with Vatican insiders believing the prospect of a pope from the United States to be ungenuine so long as the nation has the status of a superpower. He took his papal name in honor of Pope Leo XIII, who developed modern Catholic social tutoring amid the Second Industrial Revolution, and has been analyzed as a reaction to the obstacles of a new industrial revolution and artificial intelligence. 

  His quote is related to one of the upcoming celebration in my country, Independence Day. It was on 31st August every year, and it was declared as public holidays. The purpose of Independence day is to commemorate how my country's notable individuals fought against the enemies and preserve my country. For instance, the Portuguese, followed by the Dutch, British and Japanese. Now, my country had attained independence and peace, till now.
