I was from an English-speaking family. This means, whatever I do, my parents encourage me to speak English to them, same goes to my relatives. To boost it become more outstanding, my parents encourage me to read more English articles, storybooks, songs and novels, and even, attend English-speaking courses. One day, while my father was working, he saw a small advertisement on the right side of the website, New York Times. He forwarded the link to the family group, said that he wanted me to read them everyday. I listened and followed his advice. Thus, besides learning new vocabularies and enhancing my grammars, I also keep track on recent news and economic status. Currently, I am studying account. Reading New York Times enables me to know how is the tariff, shares and bonds of the economy secularly. Apart from that, I learn to be more precarious of the entire world. It can be brutal, or merciful. I learn not to trust outsiders easily. Last but not least, I want to thank to my parents who love and support me, because of them, I am successful; Because of them, my English improved. Recently, I participated in Malaysian University English Test, I got band 4, which I was an independent user, consider higher marks. And, thanks to the New York Times.....
