Today, I watched a magical, and musical film called "Wicked: For Good". This film is based on a musical stage named "Wicked" in year 2003 and a tale called "The Wizard Of Oz". It is directed by Jon M. Chu and produced by Marc Platt and David Stone. It is a sequel from "Wicked: Defying Gravity". The casts of the films are Ariana Grande(Glinda Upland, The Good Witch), Cynthia Erivo(Elphaba Thropp, Wicked Witch Of The West), Jonathan Bailey(Prince Fiyero/Scarecrow), Ethan Slather(Boq Woodman/ The Tin Man), Tan Sri Dato Sri Michelle Yeoh(Madame Morrible), Jeff Goldbum(The Wizard Of Oz) and more. It talks about after five years, Elphaba Thropp was named as the Wicked Witch of the West due to her disobedience to the Wizard Of Oz and her high intelligence. The crowds and Madame Morrible were frustrated, saying that they wanted to kill her. Glinda Upland, The Good Witch, was engaged to Prince Fiyero. But, due to the invasion of animals, Prince Fiyero changed his mind. This caused him to be with Elphaba Thropp. Nessarose(Wicked Witch Of The East), now the governor, accidentally activated the Grimmerie, and turned her boyfriend, Boq Woodman into Tin Man. Later, to kill the Wicked Witch Of The West, Madame Morrible created a tornado and took a house to slaughter Nessarose. After Nessarose death, Glinda gave Nessarose's shoes to Dorothy Gale, the girl from Kansas, and told her to find the Wizard, but was confronted by Elphaba. Luckily, Prince Fiyero and the guards arrived, Prince Fiyero held back the guards by threatening Glinda. The guards dragged Prince Fiyero, and savagely beat him, Elphaba escaped with the flying monkeys, where she fled them in the Wizard's Emerald City, and casted a spell to turn him into a scarecrow. Dorothy Gale, the lion, where Elphaba raised it, the scarecrow and the tin man, was told by the wizard to kill Elphaba. At first, Elphaba wants Nessarose's shoes worn by Dorothy. Until then, when Glinda arrives and warns Dorothy about the mob, wanted her to surrender. They reaffirmed their friendship and share a tearful goodbye. As a result, she was melted with the water thrown by Dorothy Gale. Christery, leader of the flying monkey, who had regained his speech, gave Glinda the green elixir bottle, where Elphaba's mother used it, and Glinda gave it to the Wizard. The wizard was ashamed of his action, and did something to fake Elphaba's death. Then, Glinda asked the flying monkeys to arrest Madame Morrible due to her criminal action. In the final scene, Glinda was the leader of Oz, finished telling the entire story and reestablished Animal Rights, while Elphaba leaved with Prince Fiyero. Actually, Elphaba is not the wicked witch of the west. Anyway, Glinda will keep thinking of Elphaba, and Elphaba will keep thinking of Glinda, not in physical. To stay connected, the Grimmerie, where Elphaba used, activated for Glinda, letting her knew about Elphaba's whereabout(The Grimmerie let Glinda knew that Elphaba was alive). The last scene tells about the moment where Glinda whispers to Elphaba long time ago. The thing that I like about the film is the musical and colourful scene, Glinda's and Elphaba's friendship, and Glinda's courageous actions. The thing that I do not like about the movie is the evil actions taken by Madame Morrible and the Wizard. For Madame Morrible, she falsely defamed Elphaba Thropp, and killed her sister, while for the Wizard, he restricted the animals and their rights to speech, and gave Elphaba's mother to drink the elixir to drug her. As a conclusion, Wicked For Good is a wonderful film for everyone to watch. You can buy tickets to go to the cinema to watch, or watch it online. Thank you.
